    Lincoln United’s dream of playing at Wembley Stadium came to an end as they lost in a penalty shootout to travelling Romford. The Whites had reached the semi-finals of the Isuzu FA Vase for the first time in the club’s history, beating the quarter-final finish they managed some 49 years ago.
