Manitoba and Ontario will both raise their hourly minimum wages Oct. 1, both Canadian provinces’ governments said. Manitoba’s minimum wage will increase to C$16 (US$11.58) per hour, up from C$15.80, its government said in a news release. Ontario’s standard minimum wage will increase to C$17.60 per hour, up from C$17.20, its government said in a news release. Other minimum wage rates will increase Oct. 1 as follows:• Students: C$16.60 per hour, up from C$16.20.
