On Friday several stars were released by WWE across both the main roster and NXT, with further departures being confirmed on Saturday. Since Friday (May 2), 17 WWE stars across the main roster and NXT have been confirmed to have exited the company, due to being released from their contracts or WWE opting not to extend their deals. The 16th name to confirm their WWE departure was NXT’s Dani Palmer, who took to social media to reveal that her time with the company had come to an end.
