Acres have released a new single and video, Staring At The Sun. Taken from the British metallers’ forthcoming album The Host, vocalist Ben Lumber says that the track is a “classic miserable Acres love song”. “The record goes in a brand new direction,” Ben explains, “but we wanted a few songs to nod to our roots with remnants of our old vibe. It’s about not being able to let go of someone or something who has a hold over you.”The Host is due out on May 2 via Tooth & Nail/Solid State Records.
