If @realDonaldTrump fires @SecDef @PeteHegseth, it's going to hurt him with his base and his agenda. It would be a monumental mistake. Hegseth is very effective and very popular with MAGA. More importantly, he's loyal. If he's pushed out, Trump will suffer for it.
