Dakota Kids 4-H youth gather regularly at the Pollock Community Center to participate in the 4-H Shooting Sports Program. According to Jessica Jahraus, co-leader of Dakota Kids, the group practices three times a month from January through April under the mentoring of coaches Dustin Jahraus and Jonas Lynch. Both have completed instructor training specific to the categories chosen for the shooting sports program as well as training required for youth development.

Bob Thullner’s ability to use the resources around him that have seen better days and make it useful again might just fit the bill for this title. Bob and Helen Thullner live just north of Herreid along U.S. Highway 83. It’s not uncommon to see new projects happening at the Thullner farm.
