This study analysed current approaches to FNS education in Australian primary schools. The study was novel in that it investigated current practices outside the intervention setting with an integrated focus food sustainability. Thus, we aimed to fill a gap in current literature which largely focuses on school-based nutrition interventions. Teachers in our study considered FNS education to be important.
