    Strategic investment firm Casa del Fuego Family Office and Trust has acquired Digital Global Systems, a provider of patented spectrum optimization technologies, in a stock purchase transaction valued at $5 billion.     The U.S. Air Force has awarded MITRE a $101.1 million contract modification to continue to provide support for a federally funded research and development center, or FFRDC. The Department of Defense said Friday the nonprofit corporation will continue to serve as the administrator of the National Security Engineering Center, or NSEC, FFRDC. In September, MITRE secured a $541 contract option from the Air Force for continued support to NSEC.
