Daly, who is also a member of the rate-setting Federal Open Market Committee (FOMC). After 11 consecutive rate increases since March 2022 and a period of holding rates steady, the Fed put on the brakes last month, cutting interest rates by half a percentage point, a welcome relief to borrowers across the nation.
