ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – Albuquerque native, Donald Sanchez, is finally getting his shot at a belt. The Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship (BKFC) revealed that Sanchez will take on the defending middleweight champ, David Mundell. The fight will headline BKFC 75 in the promotion’s return to Tingley Coliseum in Albuquerque on June 6. “I’m the one. I’m going for it. I’m going for it all. I’ve been calling him out. So many people have been afraid to fight this guy.

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – One of the best athletes to wear a Cleveland High School football uniform, Tre Watson, has signed with the Kansas City Chiefs as an undrafted free agent, after the conclusion of Saturday’s NFL Draft. “Kind of going into the draft, we kind of went in with no expectations. You know, multiple teams had draft grades on me, and obviously my name didn’t get called, but I am looking forward to this opportunity in Kansas City.
