Originally, Nebraska and Cincinnati we’re supposed to meet at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis, Indiana for their week 1 matchup. The game was moved to Arrowhead Stadium, home of the four time Super Bowl Champion Kansas City Chiefs, a hot spot for a lot of Husker fans. A pair of Husker football players heard their names in the NFL Draft over the weekend. Defensive Tackle Ty Robinson and Tight End Thomas Fidone were both selected during rounds 4-7 on the final day of the NFL Draft on Saturday. Robinson was taken with the 111th pick in the fourth round by the defending Super Bowl Champion Philadelphia Eagles.

After defeating the Creighton Bluejays 6-3 last night in Omaha and extending their winning streak to two games, the Nebraska baseball team is set for a weekend series with the Northwestern Wildcats. It was a very productive night for the Husker bats, with both Case Sanderson and Joshua Overbeek hitting 2 for 5, but it was Dylan Carey who stole the show. Carey was 3 for 3, while both driving and scoring two runs in.
