On Wednesday night, there was a spectacle in Eldoret as hundreds of curious residents gathered to witness the activation of the city’s first ever traffic lights. Installed at three key junctions in the Central Business District (CBD) earlier this year, the lights finally went live, drawing crowds to the busy Nakuru-Eldoret-Kampala highway, also known as the Uganda Highway.
