With the loss of Jocko Rader in 2019, the pandemic in 2020, and various other hinderances, the DCB-HOF sat on the back burner for a long time. But, with the dedication of a few individuals with extensive history with Door County Baseball, the next class of Inductees has been chosen and will be honored on May 3, 2025.

However, there seems to be one in the Door County League, and that is if there is a trophy to be won, Sister Bay or Kolberg will be winning it.

The Sister Bay Bays won their third regular-season championship in four seasons on Sunday. Submitted. When the dust settled from tiebreaker weekend, Sister Bay rose to the top, winning its second-straight league title and third in four years. Both of Sunday’s games were nail biters and gave the fans their money’s worth. With the win, Sister Bay gets home field throughout the playoffs, while Kolberg gets at least one game at home. Maplewood and Washington Island round out the playoff field.

When the dust settled from tiebreaker weekend, Sister Bay rose to the top winning their second straight league title with a 5-3 win over Kolberg on Sunday. It’s the Bays third title in four seasons. Both of Sunday’s playoff games were nail biters and gave the fans their moneys worth.
