AND IN THAT TIME, NEW TARIFFS ON CHINESE GOODS TOOK EFFECT. THAT ORDER THAT WAS X AMOUNT OF DOLLARS HAS JUST DOUBLED. AND THAT’S SOMETHING THAT YOU CAN’T PLAN FOR.

    An Oklahoma woman was charged with allegedly laundering about $1.5 million through online romance scams. The Oklahoma Attorney General's Office tracked down Christine Echohawk, 53, on Monday, and she was arrested. All of the victims in the case were women between 64 and 79 years old. This all started in April 2023, when one of the victims started an online relationship with a man she knew as "Edward Lotts," which is an alias, according to court documents.
