As St. Vincent de Paul Society of Crook County transitions to new leadership, the organization is enjoying more stability but faces service challenges. The organization finally has a new home that is not under threat of changing, as was the case at its two previous locations. Charlie Kurtz, who recently completed his second and final term as the organization’s president, is credited with helping secure a steady location and helping build up the nonprofit.
