How much does a video game cost? That used to be a simple question. When the Nintendo Switch first launched in 2017, full-priced games were $60. Easy. Then, PlayStation and Xbox first-party releases jumped to $70 in 2020. Nintendo followed suit in 2023 with The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom. But now, with the Nintendo Switch 2, the situation is even more complicated. Mario Kart World is $80. Donkey Kong Bananza is $70.

John Wick has become one of the best action franchises in recent history, seemingly changing the genre and eliciting many copycat movies with similar high-intensity sequences. Hoping to push the world of John Wick beyond Keanu Reeves, Lionsgate will release From the World of John Wick: Ballerina on June 6, 2025, starring Ana de Armas. Before you head off to see the latest chapter, take a moment to relive the films, or watch them all for the first time.

Each year it becomes harder to play all your favorite games from the past. A 2023 study from the Video Game History Foundation found that 87% of games created before 2010 are inaccessible today. Game conservation has never been more important, but the industry as a whole has mostly failed here. As nice as it is to have subscriptions to Xbox Game Pass, PlayStation Plus, or Nintendo Switch Online, those services can be shut off at any time.

My anime experience began with the first episode of Sailor Moon. But Dragon Ball Z on Cartoon Network is the first TV show I remember watching religiously, and the only one I ever demanded that my parents tape for me if I wasn't going to be home after school. If you're a fan of action anime, chances are you've seen the show at some point in your life. If not, you owe the success of Naruto and One Piece to Akira Toriyama's Dragon Ball franchise.

Imagine thinking DISNEY is too woke

I have asked the @FCC’s Enforcement Bureau to open an investigation into Disney & ABC. While Disney started as an iconic American company, it recently went all in on DEI. I am concerned that their DEI practices may violate FCC prohibitions on invidious forms of discrimination. https://t.co/E31QwwFcxA
