The Houston Texans were underdogs heading into the AFC wild-card round, but another elite defensive performance has the franchise looking like a much more difficult out than originally anticipated. Heading into Saturday's game, the Texans were three-point underdogs despite having a home game against the Los Angeles Chargers. That didn't seem to phase Houston, with the team finding a way to pull off a 32-12 win despite some hiccups from the offense. DeMeco Ryans' defense was suffocating in the win.

Throughout the 2023 season, the Denver Broncos had a quarterback problem. Russell Wilson was in his second year with Denver and his first with head coach Sean Payton. Payton came in with the hope of getting the most out of Wilson, though that pairing never completely fit. In Payton’s first training camp, he downplayed how important it was to get Wilson back on track.

Each was asked to name a maximum of five players that would make up their "class" for this year. Although most people named five, some named only four, and a handful named less than four. Altogether, there were 2,029 votes cast by the 419 who were surveyed.

The San Francisco 49ers have one of the trickiest contract extension decisions in the NFL: deciding what to do with starting QB Brock Purdy. Purdy will be in the final year of his rookie deal in 2025. As the last pick in the 2022 NFL Draft, his contract has allowed the 49ers to focus on building a contender around him, with a cap hit of just $1.1 million next season.
