TEWKSBURY — They never had a lead until the fourth quarter. They had 14 turnovers in the first half. But the Tewksbury High boys lacrosse team never let Woburn run away. And what resulted was the Redmen’s most feel-good win of the season. Trailing 9-8 ahead of the fourth quarter, Mario Simeone netted two goals to give Tewksbury a lead that wouldn’t be relinquished en route to a thrilling 13-11 win at Doucette Stadium.

There are seven games remaining on the docket for the Tewksbury High girls lacrosse team, but the Redmen need only one more win to clinch a spot in the postseason. The Redmen enjoyed a 3-0 week to improve to 9-4 with wins over Lowell, Shawsheen Tech and Triton Regional. Last Friday, Tewksbury concluded its three-game salvo with a 10-7 win over Triton to complete the season sweep against the Vikings.

Pivotal season finale for the Boston Fleet in Lowell tomorrow. Boston can clinch postseason berth with a point against Minnesota or with an Ottawa loss to Toronto. PWHL announced semifinals will begin May 7 in Toronto.

Celtics-Knicks will be the first playoff series for Boston in two years where I actually could see the series going either way. Knicks will be a tough out.
