The Gunpla release schedule for 2025 is somewhat rough so far, despite a new Gundam anime debuting. Although we’re getting some GQuuuuuuX models, release dates for retail models are scattered. The majority of the calendar is dominated by P-Bandai releases. Still, there are a few exciting Gunpla coming out this year. In particular, we’ll be seeing the second entry in the Perfect Grade Unleashed line, the Nu Gundam, sometime in 2025.

Of course, the more familiar you are with the franchise, the more you’ll get out of the series. But you can catch up very quickly if you’re just trying to experience Cassian Andor’s story. At the bare minimum, you should watch the first season of Andor before viewing Season 2.
