Bud Grant, a Hall of Famer in both the NFL and CFL, knew sports. He also knew athletes. Grant, who died in 2023, either played with, coached or served as an executive for some of the greatest athletes during a span of more than 70 years. He coached the Minnesota Vikings to four Super Bowl appearances. He also won four Grey Cup championships coaching the Winnipeg Blue Bombers.
