The National Hockey League has announced that Columbus Blue Jackets forward Sean Monahan has been named a finalist for the Masterton Trophy. Local chapters of the Professional Hockey Writers Association nominated Monahan at the end of the season, and he was a top-three vote getter. With the Vegas Golden Knights eliminating the Minnesota Wild last night, Don Waddell will have two top-20 draft picks in the upcoming NHL Draft.
