Here's my bold prediction for the $10B franchise club: When he's "done" owning the Cowboys, Jerry Jones will sell them for the all-time record for a professional franchise. He may not celebrate a Super Bowl, but he'll celebrate that as his greatest achievement.

The Mount Rushmore of 10B franchises are: - Lakers (Sold for 10B). - Knicks (B/C it comes w/MSG). - Yankees. - Cowboys (who would go for most $$$ - probably 12B plus).

I'll be the most shocked guy in the world if Tyrese Haliburton doesn't play tomorrow night.

Re: Shedeur Sanders. Someone needs to tell him he's taking a test every day until the regular season. Browns will continually ask "Can you handle this? Are you responsible enough?" Ace that test, he'll be starting by October. Fail and he won't make it out of camp.

I don't think I've ever seen a 9th inning like that for Arkansas. Sports will break your heart.

Re: Lakers sold for 10B: Maybe now they'll be better on the court? The '20 title was won b/c LeBron decided to come to L.A. for the Lakers brand. But the last 13 years overall ain't been that great.

I feel like this is a certainty: At some point this season, the Padres & Dodgers are going to have an all-out brawl on the field after an HBP or physical play.

Stupidest thing in a world overrun by the galactially stupid … Debating whether or not the Big Ten and SEC should each get 4 automatic qualifiers in a 16-team CFP … those two would almost certainly get 4 in every year, anyway.

Home runs, hit batters, ejections, players fuming. Outside of Michigan-Ohio State, there's no better rivalry in sports right now than Dodgers-Padres.

Teams are slowly going to try the "Let's try to physically bully the Fever" b/c they're going to become the best team in the W in the coming weeks. I can't see that working, but doesn't mean teams aren't going to try out of desperation.

Why do I have the distinct feeling that in the next couple of years we're going to talk about the Panthers challenging - and maybe passing - the 70s Canadiens & 80s Islanders with 4 Stanley Cups in a row...

And if I was 80% on-board before, I am now 100% on board with Andy Pages to the All-Star Game.

The Panthers are a throwback to the Islanders/Oilers dynasties of the 80s: All their lines are good, they lock down defensively, grind & get big goals. They're just better than everyone else. Everywhere. No weaknesses. It's inspiring. And frustrating.
