As we continue to look back at 20 years with TheGoodPhight, you might be wondering...”what was the state of the team back in 2005?”. Clearly, it was before the “Golden Era” from 2007-2011 that we look upon fondly. This was just the second year of the Phillies calling Citizens Bank park home and things were starting to look up as ownership started to spend money on free agents after losing two of their stars in Scott Rolen and Curt Schilling in previous years.
