Vietnam's technology sector is attracting unprecedented interest from foreign investors. For the first two months of 2025, the rapidly developing Southeast Asian economy drew US$6.9 billion in foreign direct investment ( FDI ), up 35.5% from the same period last year. While the manufacturing and real estate sectors continued to gain the biggest slices of the FDI pie, the amount flowing to science and technology surged 86% to US$354.6 million during the period, the biggest growth among all sectors.
