Favourite item on the menu? The French toast. Tonnes of work for us, but so worth it. If I want something decadent, that’s what I’ll go for. It looks so impressive. When I bring it to the table and see people’s faces, their reaction, it makes every second worth it. What’s the best part of the job? The community.

To start, select healthy, mature succulent plants to take cuttings from. Using a clean, sharp knife or scissors, snip off a leaf or stem, ensuring the cut is clean to prevent infection. We started our search at Peter Rabbit and wandered around Hindley Street on a sunny yet shivery winter afternoon. Unexpectedly, we encountered many stylish café workers. In fact, the theme of this Style Sample almost changed due to the sheer number of stylish hospitality workers we spotted. A café worker told us to wander around JamFactory, because “that is where all the stylish people are”. They weren’t wrong; we found at least five fashionable people walking in and out of the gallery.
