More than 80 Tesla vehicles have been damaged at a Tesla vehicle dealership on the Hamilton Mountain, according to Hamilton police. Police were called to a dealership on Upper Wentworth Street on March 19 following a report that the dealership’s vehicles had been damaged, a press release said. Some of the damaged Teslas, which were parked outdoors, had punctured tires and deep scratches, police said. A Tesla dealership in Montreal was also vandalized on Wednesday, according to media reports.

Late night show host Stephen Colbert took aim at President Donald Trump’s tariffs on Canadian steel and aluminum in a segment Wednesday night. The segment on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert featured Colbert drinking from a plastic bag labelled “Sackweiser,” a play on popular American company Budweiser, whose aluminum beer cans are likely to feel the impact of the tariffs.

Peel police confirmed that the man was taken into custody “as a result of the investigation.” The suspect, believed to have a gun, was barricaded in a residence Friday afternoon as Peel police tried to convince him to surrender. He was arrested with no injuries reported just after 10 p.m.Officers were called to the area of Creditview Road and Rathburn Road West just after 10 a.m. for reports of a shooting on Beacon Lane.

The incident began when three men opened fire into a music studio late at night on Nov. 11, according to police. The occupants of the studio, who were throwing a birthday party, returned fire.
