For the first time at Super Pet Expo in Edison, January 3-5, the Garden State Animal Rescue Center will offer microchipping for dogs, a quick and easy procedure that provides permanent pet tracking info that can’t be lost, worn out or damaged. Microchipping is all about reducing stress for pet owners and pets, said Brian Becker, executive director, Garden State Rescue Center.

Since 2015, the Frankford volunteer firefighters have added to their fundraising coffers by selling alcoholic beverages at the Rock, Ribs, and Ridges Festival. Their efforts help them to perform their lifesaving activities. Benefiting the Sparta Community Food Bank, festival sponsor Tito’s Handmade Vodka donates $1.00 per cocktail, amounting to $2,500 last year.
