    Chinese authorities banned a popular blogger known for his strong anti-Western comments, according to the South China Morning Post. Sima Nan, who has more than 3 million followers on China’s social media site Weibo, has been banned across different platforms for a year, according to the paper, which cited two unidentified sources. Sima last posted on Nov. 5 to voice support for Donald Trump during the US election, saying his victory will be more beneficial for China.

    Sun Hung Kai Properties sold all apartments on offer at a key residential project in Hong Kong, marking the third straight week the units have been snapped up in a day as buyers take advantage of discounts and government property-easing measures. All 215 apartments on sale at Hong Kong’s biggest developer’s Cullinan Sky project in Kai Tak, Kowloon, were purchased on Saturday, according to a representative of the company.

    Hong Kong will roll out several measures with the aim of becoming an international trading center for gold and other commodities, Financial Secretary Paul Chan wrote in his blog Sunday. Policymakers plan to increase gold inventory facilities and accelerate the development of related businesses, such as trading, insurance and logistics, according to Chan. The city’s government will also expand gold-related derivatives trading to satisfy mortgage and hedging needs.
