This small report looks at the new Tavel releases from Domaine de la Mordorée. Located in the village of Tavel, this benchmark estate was founded in 1986 by Christophe Delorme and is today run by his daughter, Ambre. This retrospective looks at the 2010s from Bordeaux, now 15 years after the vintage. To get right to the point: yes, 2010 is a brilliant vintage that fully lives up to the hype and is just now starting to enter its prime drinking window. I don’t think the vintage reaches...… Subscribe to read more Get access to this content and more when you become a subscriber! Subscribe Already a Subscriber? Login

This year’s Northern Rhône report covers the 2022s from bottle and offers a first look at the 2023s from barrel. These are two vintages shaped by shifting climate dynamics in notably different ways. The 2022s are the result of a searing, drought-driven growing season and yield ripe, sunny, structured wines...… Subscribe to read more Get access to this content and more when you become a subscriber!
