Mir, daughter of former UFC heavyweight champion Frank Mir, is a budding MMA fighter, collegiate wrestler, and professional grappler, and on Wednesday night, she made the move to the UFC, taking on Carol Joia at UFC BJJ 1. And Mir clearly picked up some of her father’s grappling prowess as she was able to score a second-round submission win.
