St. Louis Cardinals manager Oliver Marmol has told reporters that left-handed pitcher Matthew Liberatore will be the teams fifth starter to start the season. Other starter hopeful Michael McGreevy will start the season in triple-A and veteran Steven Matz will be in long relief. Eventually, the Cardinals plan on moving to a six-man rotation with Matz. Liberatore has had a solid Spring Training so far.

Veteran right-handed starting pitcher Kyle Gibson has signed a one-year deal with the Baltimore Orioles, the team announced on Friday. Jon Heyman of the New York Post reports that the deal is for $5.25 million, with up to $1.525 million in performance bonuses.
