A supper club has the feel of a bygone era. Think of our grandparents’ time and Bobby Darin, or that sweet, continuous camera shot scene in “Goodfellas” when Henry walks Karen inside the Copacabana. This is already found at Eddie V.’s in both Cherry Hill and Paramus, but now a third location is opening in Central Jersey.

Is it the money? Is it the melting pot? It's both. There is a huge, growing trend happening in New Jersey. Increasingly, families are living in multigenerational households, where three generations, and sometimes even more, reside under the same roof. Canva / TSM IllustrationAccording to a recent study by Deeds.com using U.S. Census Bureau data, New Jersey ranks 6th in the nation for this trend. I have a childish confession. When I read about a new gaming space opening at Borgata in Atlantic City, I had the urge to go and imagine I was James Bond in an exotic location. A few days back, I wrote an article about niche.com’s ranking of the best New Jersey counties in which to live. Somerset was number one, followed by Bergen and Middlesex. They based their rankings on a number of factors like job opportunities, cost of living, quality of schools, safety, etc.. Categories were graded elementary school style with a letter grading system like A’s, B’s, C’s and so on. The problem when you list all 21 counties to see who’s best? Someone’s gotta be dead last.
