    The body of one of four people missing from a medical helicopter crash in Canada has been recovered, CTV News reported. Airmedic said divers recovered one of the aircraft’s crew members Monday evening. The victim’s identity will be released once formal identification is completed by the corner and the family agrees to release the information, according to the report. The helicopter went down while performing an emergency transport on Friday evening.

    Four people remain unaccounted for after a medical helicopter crashed Friday in a Canadian lake, according to reports. The helicopter was conducting a medical evacuation when it crashed into a lake shortly after takeoff with five people aboard, the Transportation Safety Board of Canada said. One crew member was rescued from the crash site. The Airmedic helicopter went down around 10:30 p.m. on Friday near Natashquan, Quebec, about 620 miles northeast of Montreal, Global News reported.

    A woman is in custody after allegedly driving into a Los Angeles Fire Department (LAFD) ambulance transporting a child, fire officials said at the scene. The two crew members and the young patient inside the ambulance were not injured. Department Battalion Chief Rico Gross told FOX 11 Lost Angeles that firefighter-paramedics in the ambulance were transporting the minor to the hospital around 5 a.m. when they saw the suspect in a Chrysler PT Cruiser driving erratically.

A “holographic presence” could act as a deterrent or provide a sense of backup for crews operating alone, leaders at NSW Ambulance suggested. 7News Australia reported many crews and union leadership have dismissed the idea as an impractical and distracting solution to serious workplace dangers.
