A medical helicopter made a forced emergency landing in a residential area northwest of Philadelphia, according to 6 ABC. Officials said the PennSTAR helicopter was traveling from Philadelphia to Wings Field Airport in Blue Bell when it had to land in Whitemarsh Township just before 8 p.m. on Monday. One of the three flight crew members on board the helicopter was taken to the hospital to be evaluated, but officials said no one was seriously hurt.

A Kansas paramedic died in the line of duty after experiencing cardiac arrest during a call, Butler County EMS said Friday. “Paramedic Justin Lauppe was a pillar of our team, known for his unwavering commitment to saving lives and compassionate care. His loss is deeply felt by colleagues, friends, and the countless individuals he served in Butler County,” the ambulance service wrote on Facebook. “We are heartbroken by the loss of Justin, whose dedication to our community was truly extraordinary.
