    Great leaders have high standards. Take Steve Jobs: The Apple co-founder wanted things done a certain way. He was a perfectionist, challenging people to work harder, longer, and achieve more than they thought possible. The inside of a Macintosh, the part people would never see? It needed to be as meticulously crafted as the outside. To Jobs, and to countless leaders, standards matter. As the saying goes, how you do one thing is how you do everything. When you strive for excellence, everything matters.
