    Frank Borman, NASA astronaut and leader of Miami-based Eastern Airlines, has died at 95 in Montana. In 1968, Borman was commander of Apollo 8, the first mission to orbit the moon. A decade later, he was leading Eastern, piloting the company through financial and labor troubles and starring on TV commercials telling viewers, “We have to earn our wings every day.” He resigned from Eastern in 1986 when the troubled airline was sold.

There aren’t many cafeterias left in South Florida. A few hospitals have them. Schools, of course. And a lone Piccadilly in South Broward after the chain cut back its presence in Florida.
