Since 2011 Electric Forest has been on the cutting edge of live EDM. Massive stage productions, artist curated experiences, the biggest DJs, stacked lineups across over a half dozen stages, Electric Forest has everything a fan of electronic music, dance, house, techno, dubstep, and everything in between. Four full days and nights where you can move through the massive venue and even into the campgrounds and rage from noon until sunrise. It’s a Mecca of EDM.

Electric Forest added a series of artists to their already-packed 2025 lineup. The festival has always been one of the top electronic music festivals in the world and 2025 will be no exception. The festival added Vintage Culture and Zeds Dead to their headliners in the new additions. These artists join a stacked lineup including Liquid Stranger, Justice, Louis the Child, Worship, Khruangbin, Fisher, and many others as headliners.

The 21st Hoxeyville Music Festival was recently held in Wellston, Michigan in the Manisttee National Forest and, unfortunately, it was announced the day before the festival started that this would be the last. For more than 2 decades Hoxeyville was a crucial part of the northern Michigan music scene. The event brought big names into the area and had a knack for highlighting some of the best young Michigan talent.

Electric Forest has come and gone, and once again the festival showed why it is a standout event. “Forest Magic” is a common theme, and 2024 was another magical year. The festival has a reputation of outstanding musical options and surprises, crazy performance art and experiences, and an absolutely beautiful grounds. While not without its challenges, 2024 lived up to the expectations set from previous years. Musically, Electric Forest had a pretty solid and diverse lineup.

Electric Forest is around the corner, and The Jamwich is thrilled to be returning to Rothbury for another year!  Change is always the name of the game at Electric Forest, and we’re always excited to see what the legendary grounds in Rothbury have in store. Electric Forest has become steeped in history at this point, dating all the way back to the legendary Rothbury festivals of 2008 and 2009.
