    BELMONT COUNTY, Ohio — With severe weather taking up a lot of attention in April, it's good to know what to look for in the skies. And the National Weather Service can use your observations. It’s having a Skywarn spotter class on Tuesday from 6:30-8 p.m. at the Belmont County EMA office. Another class is slated for May 29 at the Brooke County Library in Wellsburg.

    JEFFERSON COUNTY, Ohio — The OhioMeansJobs – Jefferson/Harrison County Job Fair is taking place at St. Florian Hall in Wintersville. It began at 11 a.m. and was scheduled to run until 3 p.m.More than 50 employers were on hand, plus a virtual reality set was available for folks to see a variety of career options. NEWS9’s Jeff Oeschlein was there and tried his hand with a knee surgery. Free transportation was offered by SVRTA from the downtown bus garage to the hall.
