    President-elect Donald Trump has proposed trillions of dollars of tax cuts. In some states, governors and lawmakers are seeking to cut millions more. The movement for more tax cuts comes after nearly all states already have enacted some sort of tax reduction or rebate in recent years. And it comes as state revenues have begun to recede or stagnate after peaking during the pandemic. Opinions are mixed about whether states can afford additional tax cuts.
