Warm tenperatures brings spring fever We have definitely cleared out after gusty winds the past 2 days and large high pressure builds and overwhlems us with warm air. We have tempersatures today and tomorrow that exceed 10 degrees above normal, some areas approach upper 70's. It all comes to a screeching halt with a storm setup Saturday and into Sunday. Thundersnow may be possible in Jackson into Sunday and the winds pick back up. Highs return to normal levels and lows in the 20's and 30's.

Wind Advisory today with 30+mph winds Winds will be tracking with the cold front that brought some quick heavy showers overnight and the National Weather Service is cautioning those in the central and Snake River Plain from 11am to 8pm that gusts may exceed 45mph and blowing dust and debris may be an issue. The area is highlighted on the map and includes the I-15 corridor and US 20 route to Rexburg and northern highlands.

Brisk and bright ahead of warmer air Mostly sunny and high of 48 today .Winds will gust to 22 from the north with high pressure slowly beginning to phase out the compresssed showers making those dark clouds and skuttle butt snow chances move on. More spring like temperatures are coming by weekend and jumping above average by 10 degres into the mid 60's, with some regions in the upper 60's. We begin a long stretch of mild days with very limited Snake Plain shower chances.

Chilly day and pm showers possible A few stray showers and lighter winds today SW 5-10 and highs in the mid 40's again. More snow can be seen on futuretrack by this evening into IP and through IF overnight and early Thursday and then again later tomorrow. Highs will slowly get back to the 50's and closer to 60 by end of the weekend.
