According to Indian news reports, border patrols from both countries have been involved in a series of incidents along their disputed boundary in recent weeks, including a pair of confrontations in early May that devolved into fisticuffs. On May 5, the two sides came to blows on the banks of Pangong Lake, where Ladakh meets Tibet, and where the two sides have registered multiple confrontations in recent years.

    EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WFIE) - An Evansville teenager convicted of murder is asking the Indiana Supreme Court to review his case. In May of 2023, Mateo Rodriguez was found guilty on multiple charges, including involuntary manslaughter, felony murder, and robbery after police say he stole a car at a gas station and ran over 33-year-old Megan Schaefer. He was sentenced to 55 years in prison. Rodriguez’s defense appealed that decision a month later. Both the verdict and sentence were upheld.

    INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (WLFI) — The Indiana Economic Development Corporation (IEDC) shared initial findings of an ongoing central Indiana water study conducted by INTERA, a Austin, Texas based environmental and water resource consulting firm. According to a news release from the IEDC, the study will be completed by the end of the year. The results will help state and regional stakeholders confirm the best path for supporting continued growth in Lafayette and central Indiana.
