    Texas A&M released the rosters this morning for the Maroon & White Game at Kyle Field on Saturday. The team was seemingly divided up with starters at one position group for one team mirroring backups at their same position group on the other team. Here is a look at how this should play out. The Maroon offense has starting quarterback Marcel Reed which in theory should give them a solid advantage in this contest.

    Pregame stories going into these are usually focused on what we're looking for out of the position groups or individual players. This is going to be a little different since I'm going to be looking at matchups (OL vs front 6) and concepts. Texas A&M plays the Maroon & White Game on Saturday, April 19 and the game has already been moved up from a 2:00 pm start time to 12:30 pm (although the weather should be cooperative unlike last season). It will be televised on the SEC Network+ via ESPN.

    Sources indicate to Gigem 247 that Texas A&M wideout Micah Hudson has entered the NCAA transfer portal. Aggies' boss Mike Elko indicated in a press conference immediately prior to the start of spring ball that Hudson was not with the team. Hudson committed to Texas A&M in mid-December 2024 coming off a midweek visit with the Aggies.

    The Southeastern Conference today announced the appearance schedule for its annual SEC Football Kickoff Media Days presented by Regions, set to take place July 14-17 at the College Football Hall of Fame and Omni Atlanta Hotel at Centennial Park in Atlanta, Ga. This will be the third time since 2018 the Atlanta has hosted the SEC's preseason media extravaganza. Dallas, Nashville and Atlanta have served as hosts the previous three years.
