Written by Jeff ThomsonThe production of Romeo and Juliet by the Guildford Shakespeare Company continues to draw good audiences and runs until tomorrow evening (Saturday). On Tuesday last a celebratory cake was cut during the interval to mark GSC’s ‘coming-of-age’ and 18th birthday. Last week, however, in the refectory of Guildford Cathedral a more reflective event was held - a Knife Crime Awareness evening - which linked to the production.

I am confident I share that view with many – the tickets sold for Aladdin at the Prince’s Hall this year have already topped 20,000.
