May had me getting home from nearly three weeks in Africa early in the month and spending what seemed like double that amount of time trying to catch-up. There was no recovery time for jet lag, however, as I immediately threw myself into a pair of Taylor Swift shows, a new mural install, a New Orleans trip and Charlotte’s dance recital—which we planned our entire Africa dates around—all within a week of getting home.
