(WJW) — A Heat Advisory has been issued for Northeast Ohio starting Sunday afternoon and lasting through Tuesday. Heat indices could be as high as 105 degrees during the hottest time of day on Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday. Dangerous heat could continue into Wednesday too. The highest heat indices will occur between 2 p.m. and 7 p.m.A few clouds around Saturday with temperatures quickly climbing into the upper 80s. Partly cloudy and dry to start the weekend.

(WJW) – Partly cloudy skies with warm and muggy temperatures in the mid-80s. A pop-up shower or storm cannot be ruled out midday ahead of our next front. By evening time, after 6 p.m., a line of rain and storms will move through from west to east. They should leave Northeast Ohio around midnight. Some storms could be strong/severe. It will not only be rainy and stormy at times, but also warm and humid. The air is going to have a sticky feel to it, especially today.

(WJW) – Temperatures falling into the low 60s this morning. We’re tracking a slow-moving front northwest of the area. It will be with us for the next 48 hours before finally moving out just in time for the weekend. Rain starts in the late morning, accompanied by a few scattered on-and-off storms that persist into the afternoon. The heaviest of the rain settles around US 30 and south. Plenty of dry breaks and about 10° cooler than Wednesday. Highs in the mid and upper 70s.

(WJW) — A few showers in the eastern areas this morning along with areas of fog. Otherwise, mostly cloudy skies today with some breaks of sun and spotty showers. Wednesday futurecast:Tonight and Thursday, some clearing then partly sunny skies. Temperatures stay between 65 and 70. Friday morning, another system arrives from the southwest. Higher likelihood for showers southern half of the area Friday.

(WJW) – Much cooler today with temperatures in the upper 40s and lower 50s with frequent showers and winds gusting to 20-30 mph. Short lived drier periods in the afternoon. Drier still tonight. Today’s Futurecast:Friday a few showers will linger in spots. Saturday and Sunday look much better!Rainfall since April is well above normal:This upper-level low will start to move east of the Great Lakes for the start of the Memorial Day holiday weekend. Temperatures will still likely stay below normal.
