The Pensacola State soccer team excelled in the Region 8 awards, securing the Player of the Year title and seven out of eleven spots on the All-Region team. Freshman defender Amelia Johnson was honored as Player of the Year, becoming the second Pirate to receive this accolade since the program's inception. Paige Phillips, last year's Player of the Year, and Jenna Maiorino were named All-Region for the second consecutive year.

Pensacola State's Paige Phillips was named Region 8 Player of the Year. A freshman forward from Milton, Fl., Phillips led Region 8 with eight goals scored and 21 points overall. Phillips is one of six Pirates on the All-NJCAA Region 8 team. She is joined by defenders Morgan Trombly and Emily Willis, midfielders Jenna Maiorino and Holland Tauscher and goalie Sidney Roest. In his inauguaral season as Pensacola State's Head Coach, Mark Yepishin was named Region 8 Coach of the Year.
