The Pokémon Company group revealed a new themed booster pack for its popular Trading Card Game Pocket app that will be available on June 26, 2025. The new cards titled Eevee Grove, is aptly named after the adorable creature and will honor its eight evolutions. The company first announced the upcoming booster pack in a press release on June 18, 2025.

When the Earth froze over, where did life shelter? MIT scientists say one refuge may have been pools of melted ice that dotted the planet’s icy surface. In a study appearing today in Nature Communications, the researchers report that 635 million to 720 million years ago, during periods known as “Snowball Earth,” when much of the planet was covered in ice, some of our ancient cellular ancestors could have waited things out in meltwater ponds.

Warner Bros. Games recently revealed its plans to restructure. The studio will now focus on four of its biggest franchises, DC, Harry Potter, Game of Thrones and Mortal Kombat. According to Variety, three Warner Bros. Games’ heads were promoted to senior vice presidents. Yves Lachance from Warner Bros. Games Montréal will supervise the development teams working on Game of Thrones and Harry Potter titles. Shaun Himmerick of NetherRealm will manage the teams in charge of DC and Mortal Combat games.

In new recently published work, engineers from MIT and Freie Universität Berlin combined sticky, mussel-inspired polymers with mucus-derived proteins, or mucins, to form a gel that strongly adheres to surfaces.

The brilliant minds behind Silent Hill 2 Remake, Bloober Team and Konami, confirmed that a Silent Hill 1 remake is now in development. While not much is known about the upcoming title, Konami, thankfully, did release a tiny preview for the game. The quick teaser trailer was revealed at Konami Press Start Live and also posted on Bloober Team’s official X account on June 12, 2025.
