Another muggy start to the day with isolated coastal showers this morning. Warm and humid through the morning as temperatures quickly heat into the upper 80s and lower 90s this afternoon. A strong onshore breeze today will once again push showers and storms inland through the late afternoon and evening. Meteorologist Lauren Olesky has the forecast for Thursday, June 19, 2025. (WPEC) High pressure will remain in place into the weekend which will leave this same pattern into the weekend.

Another humid start to the day with the chance for a few coastal showers this morning. Hot and humid into the afternoon the upper 80s and lower 90s today. A mix of sun and clouds this afternoon with the chance for inland showers and thunderstorms. With a light southeast wind today, most storms will develop around Lake Okeechobee into the afternoon. Storms that develop today could produce heavy rainfall, frequent lightning, and gusty winds. Few downpours on Thursday, hot into the weekend.

After a hot and humid day with inland thunderstorms this afternoon, expect a quiet evening. Partly cloudy, warm and humid tonight with lows in the 70s by Tuesday morning. Deep tropical moisture will move into the region for the middle of the week, enhancing our afternoon shower and thunderstorm chance through Thursday. Highs will remain in the upper 80s and lower 90s with heat index values near 100 degrees. Warm and humid Monday night, inland storms on Tuesday.
