A mild and dry start to the day with more sunshine into the afternoon. Highs will return to the upper 70s at the coast with the middle 80s in many inland communities. High pressure will remain in control, leaving a dry and quiet weather weather pattern in place through the end of the week. An onshore breeze will return by the weekend, helping to moderate temperatures and increase our humidity levels. Expect a warming trend into the weekend with highs in the middle 80s by Saturday and Sunday.

It's a dry and cool start to the day behind a cold front that brought storms to the area on Tuesday. Expect more sun by this afternoon with temperatures in the upper 70s and lower 80s this afternoon. With a northeast breeze later today, there is the chance for a few coastal showers. Our weather pattern will remain quiet and seasonable through the end of the week with sunshine into the weekend. Another cold front will cross the region on Friday, reinforcing dry and mild conditions for the weekend.

WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. (CBS12) — Researchers at Colorado State University have announced their 2025 Atlantic Basin seasonal hurricane forecast Thursday morning, anticipating the season will be above normal. Lead hurricane researcher Philip Klotzbach said they are now forecasting named 17 storms, 9 hurricanes, and 4 major hurricanes.
