OLNEY - The owner of Shauna’s Restaurant and Banquet Hall in Philadelphia’s Olney section is speaking out after she was robbed at gunpoint Saturday night. What we know: Philadelphia police said the robber demanded cash from the register and stole Sashana Williams’s purse which contained additional money and ear pods, but Williams said the worst part of it all was the fact that her three young children, ages three, 10 and 11, witnessed the traumatizing crime.

The BriefMarina Vasconcelos, 24, was identified by police as the University of Delaware student killed in a crash near campus. Vasconcelos LinkedIn says she was a third-year graduate research student pursuing a doctorate in Biochemistry. Gordon Turner, who police say was wanted in three states, was charged in the deadly crash.
