    MDOT says it is lifting lane restrictions on nearly 60 percent of its road projects this Memorial Day weekend or 92 out of 158 projects. The goal is to ease traffic delays for holiday travelers. A news release says AAA estimates more than 1.3 million Michigan residents are expected to travel 50 miles or more from home over the holiday weekend. That’s a slight increase from last year and the second highest forecast since AAA began tracking holiday traffic.

Michigan's Elder Abuse Task Force launched in 2019 and consists of more than 55 different organizations in the public, private, and nonprofit sectors – all working together to combat elder abuse.
