A Michigan man was in shock when he saw how much he won on a scratch-off lottery ticket. The 51-year-old man bought a Million Dollar Madness instant game in Holly, according to a news release from the Michigan Lottery. “I normally only buy $1 or $5 tickets, but I splurged and bought a $10 ticket,” he told lottery officials. The man said that when he got home, he scratched the ticket and “shed tears of joy” over how much he won. The man hit the jackpot of $1 million, according to the lottery.

What started out as a scary situation turned into a safe ending after a dog in Indiana got a bone stuck around his jaw.
